baby shower guests

My original plan was to have a small brunch with only close family and friends. My shower/brunch is this weekend, and my numbers are somewhere between 30-40 guests. I don't even know how that happened. The maximum that can fit in the brunch room is 30 guests give-or-take. I kinda feel like that many people is excessive. I wanted something cute and small, mostly because I LOATHE being the center of attention, but at 8 months pregnant, I LITERALLY stick out. That plan is out the window.
