Best Disposable Diapers?!

Hi ladies, so make our baby shower I received a lot of different brands of diapers. All of them were size newborn though so I want to exchange them but not sure what to do. We received a box of 174 Huggins, we received Honest Diapers which is what I intended on using but some moms say there babies leak in them, pampers and luvs. Would love to hear which ones you love for your LO. I used Pampers Swaddlers while my daughter was a new born up until 3 months. Then when she started sleeping longer through the night, the diaper would leak. So I kept her on Pampers during the day and Luvs at night. Eventually I switched to Luvs and we never have a problem with leaking unless she has a severe blow out😂. I swear by Luvs now and she's 18 months.

My best friend who just had a little and runs a daycare swears by pampers. My sister whos little is 6months swears by honest co. I have been told that you really dont know til you have yours what fits them best. I have other friends who swear by huggies. I have been asking for small packages of each and gift cards so i can try them all then go buy what we need when the time comes.

Here's a great suggestion. Keep the honest diapers to try them out, since that's what you wanted. You will get pampers from the hospital. Return all the rest and get it on a gift card and save the money to use on diapers once you find a brand you and baby like!!

I would honestly just keep a small package of newborn cuz you may just skip to size one. My baby boy was born at 7lbs. 8oz. (and he was a skinny little thing!) and the nurses put him straight into size one diapers. He was in those for about a month or two. You'll know you need to move up a size when blowouts out the top start happening... and when they do, move up a size! lol I tried so hard to finish a package after blowouts started, I ended up with bigger messes to deal with so... yeah.

As for best brand... you'll have to see what works best for baby. Huggies worked the BEST for my son. Pampers tab things would rub and irritate my sons skin on his stomach, but I know a ton of women who swear by them.

Exchange for gift cards. But small packs of different ones to see what works. We started with pampers and went to huggies. I liked huggies but target brand were way cheaper. We have been using them for 2 years and will continue until he is potty trained.

We are done w newborn size at 7 weeks w my petite baby but we went through LOTSSSSSS of diapers   In the 7 weeks. We liked Huggies best, never tried Luvs newborn. Pampers newborn seemed small for newborn size, Huggies was slightly larger. I've heard many people say it will end up depending on how your baby is shaped which ones you'll prefer.
