38+2 weeks midwife appointment

So I went to my midwife appointment today and she said that the baby's head was engaged 3/5 meaning that his head isn't fully engaged! So I'm guessing my cervix is still hard and closed like it was at my last appointment. Don't think he's going to be making an appearance very soon. But I have been having contractions just not in a consistent pattern. Or maybe there just really strong braxston hicks. I don't know but I'm so fed up and it's so discouraging to know that I'm probably going to over my due date! With my first pregnancy I went 4 days early 😩 sorry I just need to vent
