breastfeeding?!

Anyone not wanting to breastfeed or on the fence about it? I tried with my 1st daughter and it was just horrible for me. Made it to three month of it and I gave up. The hospitals here push it so much and make you feel like crap if you don't want to 😩😩😩😩 tell me I'm not the only one who wants to bottle feed

I desperately wanted to breastfeed my daughter but she kept losing weight and when I pumped I couldn't even get half an ounce so I ended up doing formula. I plan to try again this time and I'm hoping it goes better. But that is something I want to do. No one is pushing me into doing it. I am 100% for breastfeeding IF that's what mom wants to do. Just like I'm 100% for formula feeding if that's what mom wants to do. I'm all for babies being fed. Breast or formula.
Now if there's a mom who's thinking about trying it but unsure if it's for her I will encourage her to try it but if it ends up not being for her then at least she don't have to go wondering if it's something she would have liked doing.

I don't and I'm catching a lot of crap about it. First of all, my oldest would not latch at all even with a lactation consultant. I pumped and gave it to him until it dried up. I wanted to try this time, but I really don't think its for me. Ive been told to listen to the ones who've done it successfully..... well they are the ones that made me NOT want to! My best friend has had a horrible time due to her baby being diary and soy intolerant. She changed her whole life so she could still feed him and plans to continue until hes 2 which I support of course. Her baby also refuses any bottle or paci so she leans over him so he can use her as a paci. I just dont have the time it takes being in school and having a 2 year old also.

I would love to breastfeed but physically can't due to a previous reduction. I just don't produce enough. Don't let anyone bulky you into something you don't want to do. Formula feeding doesn't make you a bad mom nor does not wanting to nurse. You do what's best for you.
