anyone have thyroid issues when TTC?

My thyroid levels came back normal for someone who isn't trying to conceive but since we are TTC they want it to be a certain level. I am taking 25 mg of thyroid meds now. Did anyone else have this and end up conceiving?

After a year and half TTC we finally went to an RE and they stated my Thryoid needed to be at a certain level to undergo fertility with them and I was 2 points too high and the meds can take 3 months to have an effect.  They put me on 25mg of levothyroxine and my levels are now lower. We have unexplained infertility but they think that may have been a factor.  We ended up having to do IVF but I still wonder if my Thryoid effected my egg quality...will never know foresure I guess.  Good luck!

I was diagnosed in November with Hashimotos thyroid disease. I have been on 25mcg Synthroid since and have had no luck in conceiving. But everyone is different, easier for some and others not so much. Good luck and baby dust to you!!
