Hair done before or after baby?

Want to get my hair trimmed and colored. Wanting to bayalage. 39 weeks baby can come any day.  If I can get an appointment should I do my hair before baby gets here or just wait till after? Worried about the chemicals... thanks!

Hairstylist here! I would do it now :) it will help you feel a little more put together during a tiring time. Also, balayage isn't directly on your scalp, and salons are properly ventilated. So you have nothing to worry about!!

Get hair done now! I have an ombré and got mine touched up a week ago. The style lasts at least 3 months, so no worrying about getting it touched up soon after birth.

I stayed away from hair coloring for the first trimester. Personal opinion is that you'll be fine for a touch up right before giving birth :)

I did mine before because I won't want to mess with it once my baby gets here.  I just did mine Saturday & now I'm good for awhile.

I would also do before. I just had highlights and my hair cut on Friday!

You will be fine to do it before. Hair dye won't hurt baby especially if you do Bayalage

I'd do it now because when you have an appointment you aren't going to want to bring the baby and you aren't going to feel comfortable enough to leave her with someone
