fish while pregnant?

did anyone eat fish when they were pregnant? Do you recommend to eat fish or no?

You just want to avoid fish that have a lot of mercury in them such as shark, swordfish, king mackerel, & tile fish. Canned tuna has a small amount of mercury, so they suggest eating it in moderation. Salmon, tilapia, shrimp, cod & catfish are considered safe to eat in moderation as well. They're a great source of protein! I personally crave fried clam strips & fried calamari during my pregnancies and my doctor told those are fine to eat as well! It's really up to you and what you feel comfortable with. Ask your doctor as well because I'm sure he/she will have some suggestions for you as well!

whilst pregnant with all 4 children I made sure I had fish at least 3 times a week HOWEVER certain fish have high mercury content. Check which ones are high and don't eat them . I stuck with breams and writings 😊

I will continue to eat sushi. But not tuna, just salmon sushi. I live in Japan and.... Yeah... I can't stop eating it. Of course raw fish in moderation and only salmon.can Tuna fish once a week or less, anything else I don't eat.

If so, make sure it's cooked, and sparingly eaten as the Mercury is very unsafe for the baby.

I ate very rarely...if so I would eat salmon! Avoid big fish ! High mercury level
