worried?

i just got on the pill and i'm on my 11th day, i've been spotting brown stuff and i've bled a teeny bit but it kind of worried me. my mom said my body probably isn't used to the hormones yet and that's what is causing the small amount of blood and discharge. have any of y'all experienced this?
