My Hsg Experience, Trying to conceive & PCOS fighting!!

I want to share my experience because I had a lot of questions before this procedure. I never heard about this test before. First, I had to call the doctor the day I got my period to make an appointment (a week later because I have a long period window). No sex before the test and five days later to prevent vaginal infections. The day of the test I took two Aleve one hour before. In the room you have to lay down like a regular pap check up. The doctor insert a thin tube (It did not scared me at all). When he insert and inject the dye I felt some cramping but no pain. The doctor told me to turn to one side and then to turn to the other side. That was funny for me and I did not expect that. He finished like in five minutes. I left to go home and I was feeling okay. I was with my fiancee so that made me feel better. Afterwards i had some spotting and I had some pain on my hips the next day. The experience was pretty much okay for me. Tomorrow Im going to see my doctor to discuss the results. I had been trying to get pregnant for more than a year and I was diagnosed recently with PCOS so hopefully my tubes are okay. Fingers crossed 🙏
