I also stopped dairy but only after my intolerance tests came - no egg whites, dairy and bananas for me. And once I stopped those altogether I lost weight, cleared up my acne, no more sore throath every morning, no more bloating, cramps, pain in my stomach oh and lighter period!!! So I am never looking back. I am also transitioning vegan, I already don't eat meat, sometimes some fish here and there but trying to cut out. Glad you also experienced these benefits on cutting out dairy 😌
Not a vegan... but I'm going dairy free
Well as the title says, I'm not a vegan (yet) but I've just embarked on my dairy free journey.
I've been suffering from severe stomach/bowel issues for a few years but this last year has been the worst. Bloating, sharp pains, gas bubbles, diarrhea and acne.
My acne has always been bad tho, I've been on Accutane before, but now the acne is back.
So last Saturday was the final straw, I'm laying in bed at night next to my amazing hubby and I'm miserable, all the above mentioned symptoms reunite to gang up on my body.
The next Sunday morning, no dairy. I've been dairy free for 5 days and I've already seen a huge difference- first of all no breakouts!! None! Also no bloating stomach, no sharp pains and a regular bowel movement.
My husband and I are moving out of the US in a few months to a country that is primarily fishing and agriculture so we're excited at the idea of getting away from beef and chicken and eating fish, veggies and fruit.
Anyone else ever taken this route? If so what changes in your body did you notice?
