spotting

Hey, so I need some advice or some opinions cause I'm going a little crazy!

I'm on the pill, I take it everyday at the same time. I know how it works, it's not 100% bluh bluh bluh..but me and my boyfriend have unprotected sex quite whenever we see each other, which isn't everyday since he lives 2 hours away and works all week but we we do he usually finishes inside me.

And I don't have any idea if this is to do with it or what so I don't need y'all rude comments, because I'm coming on here to get and advice and not to be shamed.

But my period is supposed to come in 6 days and I'm getting the pmsing.

For the last 2 days tho, I've been like spotting..dark (blood coloured discharge is there) I'm just wondering what that really means, like does it mean I have a good chance that I'm pregnant or does it happen to ladies just because?
