Do you think it's okay for little girls to play with makeup?

I saw this video and looked through the comments and saw a lot of moms saying this is totally wrong. I remember when I was this little we had the cherry flavored lip gloss/chapstick but that's about it lol. At what age do you think it's okay for your daughters to play with makeup? How about letting them leave the house in makeup? Just curious. I'm a makeup lover myself and my God daughter (11yo) is obsessed! She's allowed to play with it at home but her mom and dad will not allow her to leave the house with any on. Thoughts?
