Miscarriage

I'm saddened to say that, unfortunately, today I had a miscarriage. I was just posting less than a week ago the announcement for how happy I was that I had a positive pregnancy test. I was 5w3d. I knew something was wrong last night when I had lower back cramps accompanied by brown spotting. This morning, there was a small clot, so I went to the ER. They told me my HCG dropped dramatically and I was going to miscarry if I already hadn't. Later in the day, the blood came. It's totally surreal to me still and I'll need time to heal. The hubby and I won't start trying again right away. I have no idea how people can suffer through multiple. My heart is broken, but time heals all wounds. 💔
