Cold sore

So I haven't seen my boyfriend in a month or so and I'm going to tomorrow, we'll I noticed I might be getting a cold sore. I put ice on it for 20 mins so it could hopefully go away tonight because I mean...we have catching up to do ;). I know he won't care because we'll be happy to at least see each other but I'd still like to do a little extra for him you know. Does anyone know of some over night/couple hour remedies to get rid of a soon/maybe cold sore!?
