what are the side effects of getting off the pill?

Thinking of getting off the pill soon after being on it for 5 years. Did any of you girls have bad side effects? I used to have bad acne and fear getting it again and I had terrible cramps!!

I just decided to go off the pill a week ago and I have felt GREAT. All my bad symptoms from birth control are gone and my overall mood has improved so much. I feel much healthier. I had horrible acne as well, which cleared up on the pill and so far no acne has returned. Although, everybody's body is different and I haven't given it much time yet. Good luck getting off the pill, you'll feel great! :)
