I live in Aiken South Carolina and my hospital/doctor is in Augusta Georgia if you look on a map it's about 40 minute it was my only option considering I was trying to find a doctor after moving at 28 weeks and he is the only who would take me, I have been going through premature labor for awhile almost every two weeks my son tries to come it all started at 29 weeks not I'm 35 weeks and I'm dilated 7 and his head is buldging out of me currently but they had to send me home. So I'm on 100% bed rest no moving but my question is if my water was to break and I was home alone would an ambulance take me to my hospital? I do not want to go to another hospital if my water breaks considering they know noting about my pregnancy and would probably try to make me have him not knowing my risk my doctor already said once my water breaks he feels the baby will come very fast because of him already buldging. My husbands mom used to work at a hospital and said they have to take me where ever I ask to go especially with pregnancy but I don't think it works that way? I just want my baby safe and someone not trying to pull him out when I have all these high risk and premature labor issues.
