Being induced on Oct.10

I was diagnosed with Chronic Hypertension during this last trimester. My Ob/Gyn said that if baby Mason doesnt get here on his own by then, the induction is a must. Im due on the 16th, with my induction scheduled for the 10th.

Any GlowMommas on here in the same situation/have any of you been through this? Do I absolutely HAVE to be induced with only a week left before im due because of my C.H?
