How close is labor at 40.1 weeks and lost mucous plug?

So I'm aware you can lose your plug early and it can regrow. I've been losing mine since 36 weeks! Although since 39 weeks it stopped and I'm currently over due at 40.1 weeks. Just lost a good amount again. If lost later in pregnancy can it indicates anything?! Or is it the same as if I lost it at 36 weeks?! Stories. Experiences?! I'm just so over it. I'm 3.5CM & 80% effaced as of Friday. Please someone give me hope lol slowly dying.
