Car Seat, Stroller, Travel System?

Question

I'm working on my registry and I'm SO overwhelmed! I'm a FTM and we're expecting a boy, but hoping to have more kids down the line, so going for gender-neutral colors. I like the Chicco Keyfit 30 car seat for the safety aspect, but not loving the price of the travel systems - $300ish is my goal. Does anyone have (and love) the Graco Aire3 system? Or would you suggest NOT doing a travel system and getting the car seat and stroller separately? Hubby and I like the idea of a 3-wheeled stroller for ease of use in our city, but open to 4-wheeled options if you really love them and they're easy to use.

Thank you SO much for your opinions - I can't believe how much I'm stressing over this but I just want to make the safest, best choice for my little guy!

After reviews I went with a Chicco bravo. It was 350 but honestly when you think of it besides the crib the travel system you will use on a daily basis. Check out buy buy baby website and u can compare different systems. Also go on YouTube and check reviews other moms reviews and feedback :)

I felt the same way about the price of Chicco travel system. So I ended up buying the Bravo LE stroller and Keyfit 30 separately. I got them both off Amazon through the open box deals! I only ended up spending 275 for both and I adore it!!

Chicco is amazing. They just came out with the new Viaro system. You can use a Bed Bath and Beyond 20% off coupon at Buy Buy Baby. We hated our Britax too!

I have the Key fit 30 system. I only paid $299 for it. It goes on sale often. At least it did at my babies r us. Put it on your registry and if no one buys it for u u will get a coupon to use for things not bought from it. So we put everything on so we could use the coupon after.

We HAD a 3 wheels Britax traveling system( best 3 wheels on the market) and we HATED IT. 
We went to babies r us and spent 2 hrs testing over 30 systems...
We decided that BY, far the Chicco Bravo Trio Travel system is the best . Voted number 1 for safety, quality and ease of use. We LOVE IT.
Also, its,well worth the 350 bux. And  it IS worth getting a traveling system rather than separate. If u will need both car seat and stroller. . Ur so much better buying the traveling system.

If you might have more children before your oldest is 3 or so, you may want to get a stroller that converts to a double. I didn't and ended up having to buy a whole new system when my second came. I have the city select stroller, it can be a single or double.  I use the maxi cosi bucket seat with it, though I think the Chico works with it too. I then use the Graco nautilus 65 for the convertible seat because it has a higher forward facing 5 point harness weight limit  (65 pounds) most are standard of only 40 pounds then you can only use the regular seatbelt with it as a booster, which isn't safe until their spines are more developed. My son outgrew the 40 pound limit before he was even 4 years old. I have 3 kids and had to live and learn and replace seats and strollers, it was annoying and expensive. Hope this helps!
