Brown discharge ?

I am 8 + 1 weeks & I have this brown discharge off and on. This is my first pregnancy and I would like to know is this normal ? Or should I be concerned ???

It is normal to spot. Brown is good. It's when it's red and soaking through a pad every hour that you should really worry and go to the ER. I am 8+1 as well and I don't have it right now but it's been off an on for the past few weeks too. Just keep watching it and make sure your OB knows you are spotting. :)
