pooping??

Question

My two month old is on day two of no poop. She's gone a day before but usually the next morning she has a bm.
Is there anything that will help her? Or should I call the doctors?

Depends on how bub is fed. Breastfed babies can often go days without pooping. My son only pooed once a week. Its because they absorb and use  more breastmilk in comparison to formula.

My doctor said that after 3 days without poop you should take baby to their doctor, but before that it usually is fine unless they seem to be really uncomfortable

My 2 and a half month old was having the same problem the doctor recommended a very little bit of prune juice or light karo syrup mixed in a bottle. I tried the karo syrup (just a little blop in 4oz oc breastmilk) and it worked like a charm. Three poopy diapers in a row and a much happier little boy. Best of luck!
