I hate my period 😩😔

I got my mirena after I had my son because I thought it'd be a perfect fit considering I have two kids under the age of 3 but I was told I wouldn't get my period every month and I've had it ever since I got it.. when should my period start to not come every month? (I've had my mirena for almost 9 months)
