Preparing for IVF and choosing doctor

I am currently doing IUI but preparing for IVF. I was pregnant recently after taking a break following my first IUI. I bled the whole time and lost the pregnancy. I hesitate to commit to IVF as I have unexplained infertility. My insurance is through Kaiser. I need advice on how to choose a doctor for IVF. Kaiser freezes extra embryos as they don't implant multiples. If the procedure is unsuccessful they do the procedure once or twice more for "free" but you still have to pay for the meds. (At least that's my understanding of how it works.) because insurance doesn't cover the cost of IVF I may be better if finding a doctor who has a better success rate. Does anyone have experience with this?
