Do I need anything else for my postpartum survival kit?

Freezer crock pot dinners (about 30+)

A nursing gown is amazing. I also bought ballerina slippers to wear at the hospital and continued to wear them at home. I got the gown from kohl's online, and legit wore the hell out of it the first 3 weeks, and still sometimes now, but not so much that I've purchased more night time nursing bras to wear to Bed. So yes buy the night nursing bras. You know what else works great is normal cami tank tops (with the little built in elastic deal) take bathing suit pads (the removable pad from a bikini).. I stick the disposable nursing pad in the bathing suit pad, and just take the strap off my shoulder when feeding the baby and set the Pad next to me while feeding: a lot cheaper than maternity tanks! I brought my own blanket and two pillows from home and I DO NOT REGRET IT! It gave me a little bit of extra comfort in the hospital. I don't agree with the dermo plast because I felt like it made me less careless when I was numb, and brought me more pain later, to each their own. Also, anything that's in the hospital room is YOURS TO KEEP, and I highly recommend taking home the sitz bath they give you because it's amazing during healing time at home with a little bit of witch hazel and warm water. Also stock up on those nice long ice packs they'll give you while you're in there. They work great. Good luck mama! I'm done rambling. 💞

Ok....so the only other thing I did was stock my closet full of things like shampoo, conditioner, tooth paste, toilet paper, paper towels, light bulbs, cleaning supplies, detergent, softened, hand soap, dish soap, etc I'm well into three weeks and haven't had to purchase any of that stuff yet and im less than half way thru the things I stock piled :)

If you think you'll bottle feed or need to supplement at all, which I thought I'd exclusively breast feed but it's taken more time for my milk to increase so I've had to supplement a little just to make sure she's getting enough....make sure you have a jug or two of the "baby water" on hand.

If you're breastfeeding, definitely have snacks!!!! Lots of snacks!!!! Drinks!!! Because this is all you'll have time for!! Lol sleep when the baby sleeps- I'm sure you've heard this...but that leaves you with no time to eat...so you also have to eat when the baby eats lol

And yes!!! Get the dermaplast!! Also a small hand held mirror...yes. It's a good idea to keep an eye on things to ensure there's no infection and healing well :)

I liked nursing tank tops instead of bras, they were supportive enough and I didn't have to worry about wearing a bra and a separate shirt. I bought a few from Target and lived in those the first couple months. Also, I would add Dermoplast and a great big water bottle (I got one that holds fruits inside), you'll have to increase your water intake greatly for breastfeeding and to help with postpartum swelling.

Not exactly answering your question but do not flush "flushable wipes." They ruin the sewer system.
Oh and nursing bras are a must. I'd get a sleeping one and an actual supportive one at the least.

I think your list is great. I'm taking it that most of this will be at home and not stuff you are taking with you since the hospital should provide most of it anyway.

One of the biggest thing I needed after was straws...when I was nursing it was so much easier to sip from a cup or tumbler with a  straw.

Definitely used dermoplast and mama bottom spray but I just took the leftover dermoplast from the hospital.

Nursing bras/camis are a must. Dark leggings or sweat pants to lounge in.

Tip for hospital bag-take a big towel. The ones they had there were so small. Ugh.

I'd add a nursing bra. It really does make their feedings al little easier, especially since you will be exhausted. I wouldn't worry about water bottles, most hospitals will provide you with as much water as you need. Snacks are a good idea though.

I did wear a nursing sleep bra in the hospital when we had guests...sometimes. Seems like everyone in town has seen my boobs my now lol. The mesh underwear are solid gold, I can't wear the depends underwear they feel so bad against my stitches. Take everything you can from the hospital their pads don't feel as bad against the skin.

I also had a nursing nightgown, the first two weeks I didn't take it off. A great robe, and as for the mesh underwear, I took mine from the hospital. Each time they bright more and those giant pads I would pack some away! I never used the dermoplast, I pushed for 3 hours and had a c section so maybe that is why. But the squirt bottle is the greatest thing ever.

I purchased waterproof mattress protector for my bed. I then sat on one of those disposable pads on sofa which I'm glad I did.
