Nesting instinct kicking in!

So I'm 29 weeks and my nursery is no where NEAR being ready. I live in a remote area where shopping for anything is extremely limited so I'm having to buy everything online. Baby shower is in less than two weeks and my mom and sister in law are organizing it but just barely sent out invitations so I'm nervous no one will show up or get anything on my registry. I'm kind of counting on gifts since this is our first child and we're not exactly rolling in money lol. Our nursery/guest room doesn't have a closet so I had to buy a storage cabinet to keep baby stuff from bring strewn about on every open surface. My poor hubby wants to help so he's been bringing stuff home that he's found used for free and it's hideous or really uncomfortable (speaking of rocking chairs). He finally brought another rocking chair home that wasn't revolting and I didn't have the heart to tell him it wasn't going to work because it was so uncomfortable. I feel like I'm being unreasonable and impossibly picky but bottom line is I'll be spending a huge amount of time nursing and changing diapers so I want it to be as manageable as possible. Anybody else having a crazy hard time putting their nursery together? Am I being crazy? Lol you see all the pictures on here from other's nurseries and they look so cute and perfect but I feel like mine will be a disaster! Gah!
