Pamper day while pregnant?

I just entered my 3rd trimester and my Aunt wants to take me to get my nails done along with a hair cut and dye. I just read you shouldn't do this in the 1st trimester so I'm curious what all you were told? If I were to do it, does wearing a face mask help?

I've always felt weird about pregnant girls getting nails and hair done no matter how far along so I'm not sure how I feel about this...
