TTC and PCOS

My husband and I have been trying to conceive for four months now. Since then I've been having irregular periods. I decided to go to the doctor today for a check up while there he did an ultrasound.  I was diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome. I'm somewhat concerned about this and not sure how to feel. I don't want to do research online just yet because I'm already upset and don't want to get my head spinning more than it is. As of right now his recommendation was Clomid. I'm just looking for some advice out there or women who've gone through this to maybe put me at ease. After I sleep on it I'll do my research online and find out more information. I appreciate anybody with stories of their own that would like to share. Thank you all.
