Military wife/gf support. ?

My SO is leaving to basic training in a couple months. I'm excited, scared, and so proud of him. I was just wondering if anyone knew of any websites that give emotional support, OR if there are any women on here that would inform me on what to expect. Thank you. ?

My husband deploys on a regular basis it's hard at first but just keep busy find a new hobby or something trust me it makes the time go by faster if you ever need to talk I can listen if you want. After basic just know he may not come back the exact same they really do grow up a lot there and it takes them a little while to adjust to regular life again. After he's done with basic anytime he deploys or tdys some bases have programs set up for some kind of spousal support and if they don't most of the other wise will be there for you. It does get easier over time just think of it this way he is safe and learning a lot and is doing something that he is going to always be proud of. Just show him you support him

I've been with my BF over two years and he's coming up to his 3rd year in the Air Force. I've thankfully not been through him leaving except for a little over a month when he PCSed before me to get things set up. but if you need to chat Im here :)

Write him a letter and send it everyday while he's in basic. He won't get them in the beginning but he'll get a bulk after a few weeks and love it. It'll go quicker than you think. I'm here if you need me.
