My oldest daughter went in labor on the 2nd and at 8 am her water broke with mild contractions she was only dilated to 2cm but they kept her because her bag broke and she was 1 day pass her date they decided to give pitocin to speed up contractions after several hours of no progress around 130pm Oct 2nd she received the meds around 8 pm she needed the epidural she stayed as strong as possible enduring the pain still only dilated Now at 3 cm she stayed at 3 until 3am she was now at 5 1/2 cm and her contractions where picking up good. He nurse came back in around 430 and said I'm going to go head and check again she was fully dialated to 10cm ready to push she did great pushing him out 5am yesterday my love bug arrived such a joy until. Now for the scary part he came out and made a small sound as Dr. Was suctioning out the mucus but then no response my love bug was not breathing it took them about 30 min working on him to get him to breath and respond they sucked and tried stimulation he was so blue and lifeless it was so scary esp with me standing in there at 23 weeks and 5 days all I can do was pray and hold back the tears to be strong for my baby girl and keep assuring her he was OK he was just tired. we couldn't see him for a few hours they had to get him stable he had 3 large mucus blocking his airway. He is doing better Now he is responding very well just not eating so please pray for my love bug and my daughter.
