Well, I can't answer personally because I'm single, but I can answer in regards to my siblings. My sister and her husband started dating in September 2015, got engaged in March, and got married on October 1. My brother and his fiancé have been together since 2011 and got engaged in August.

Dating almost 2 1/2 years before we got engaged. Was engaged for almost a year and a half. And just had our first married anniversary the other day :)
