My son has that too he's 4 months now it seems to be getting better and don't seem to bother him his pediatrician said it's normal

I second the coconut oil. I just put some on about 10 mins before bath time then I use the wash cloth to firmly but not too aggressively scrub his head.

Put some baby oil or cocoanut oil on it let is get the area nice and gooey then just take a fine tooth comb and gently scrape and comb it out and when washing his hair use a baby brush to scrub the whole head

My daughter had some about a month or two ago. I'd just put coconut or olive oil on it for a bit then wash it off with baby shampoo and a wash cloth. Afterwards, I'd brush the flakes off gently but repetitively with a baby brush.
