low amniotic fluid... sent to hospital to be induced
Def not how I pictured heading to the hospital... but from my docs appointment, amniotic fluid was low and placenta at risk for infection. Just took first dosage of cytotec orally to induce labor and now being monitored.
I'm also really upset because my normal doc was out for one day, was told I need to come in everyday because I'm overdue. My typical doc said yesterday that baby is measuring big over 8 lbs and everything is good. Totally new doc today and she said it's time to head to the hospital, baby is measuring under 6 lbs and low amniotic fluid... just super scary. Hospital and midwife at hospital agreed with doc I saw today.
Will be finally meeting our little one!!
