acrylic paint safe?

Is acrylic paint safe to use on skin? Not like face painting but I want to paint my daughters foot or hand to put on canvas and then wash it off afterwards. If not I'll go buy some thing else.

Hey, artist over here! Haha acrylic would turn out beautifully and last a long time simply because of how high quality the paint can be if it's a good brand. From what I know most are non toxic. Just check the bottle/tube. But it will be VERY hard to get off so I suggest getting this soap to remove it, it is a miracle worker in the art world lol.

I would not use acrylics for baby footprints. They are hard to wash off and may not be non-toxic. You need a paint that is non-toxic. Washable tempera paints are good, and Crayola has tons of different types of paints that are non-toxic.
