does anybody have Skyla?

Alexis
I went in to talk about having my nexplanon removed, and my different options for birth control. I'm not going to go into full detail,  it basically my blood doesn't like nexplanon (progesterone), so the doctors recommended and IUD since it will be more centrally located, and not have to travel my whole body. The explained that mirena is larger than skyla, and skyla only last 3 years, which is the max I want birth control. My question for you guys is what kind of side effects do you have? The doctors explained to me that it's basically the same as mirena, same company and everything that make it. But I just want personal experiences.
And yes they recommended paraguard,  but they agreed that the side effects may be too much, so I'm not even considering it. Plus I've seen my neighbor go through hell over it.
