new to this

Hello I'm 21, and my due date is oct 9th but, haven't lost my mucus plug or nothing yet all I have are lol contractions. First time mom as well is anyone else on the same boat? Nerves and don't know what to do I walk have sex and everything to try and dilate but haven't so far either. I have a doctor appointment Thursday what should I expect for her to tell me, any ideas? I'm also having a boy
