Anyone else's SO do this?

When they're messaging you, sometimes they'll open/read your message and not reply until a few hours later or not at all. They'll just stop replying in the middle of the conversation. Like if you're busy, it doesn't take 5 seconds out of your time to message me and let me know😒

I used to hate this too, but now I do it. It's not a "take 5 seconds to reply" thing because the second you reply, they'll reply, and you'll feel obligated to respond again. If I'm busy I'm busy...or if I don't respond it's because I don't want to. As soon as someone makes a deal out of me not being quick with the replies I'm out, haha. I hate feeling obligated.

My ex did this all the time. I told him it bothered me but he did it anyway. 
Just talk to them. If they care about you and want you in their life, they'll make an effort.
