Ftm breastfeeding

How do I tell the hospital I no longer want to breast feed after only trying for 1 day? He latches...sometimes unlatches. It really hurts. When the lactation consultant is with me she puts the Nipple in perfectly and it only hurts the first few sucks. But I'll be going home tomorrow and I don't have family or friends near to help with anything. Husband has to go back to work soon. Ftm. I feel bad my family came here from another state and bought me Nipple cream. I really thought I could do this.
