Sex - Red flag? 🔴

I may be over thinking this...  
but lately my husband has been distant. Not a big deal, we have both been busy with work. We haven't had sex in over a month and today he initiated sex because it is my ovulation week. 
Well before TTC we used birth control PLUS the pull out method as a form of contraception. When we did the pull out method (with BC) he loved to finish on my back (sorry for the TMI). 
Well we have been TTC for 4 years now so we haven't done the pull out routine in years.  
When we were having sex today and he was about to finish he pulled the back of my shirt up as if to end there and acted as if he was going to pull out... he paused and then caught himself and finished inside me. 
This really threw me off. Should I be concerned? My mind is going crazy as if he recently did this with someone else which is why he tried it with me. 
Talk me down ladies. My mind is going a million miles a minute.

If he has a sex thing that he really enjoys doing but hasn't gotten to do in 4 years, he probably just misses it and got into the moment.

Maybe make a point of having sex when you aren't fertile and doing some of the stuff that you don't do get to do anymore while TTC.

I'm a huge over thinker so I completely understand how you feel lol but you both haven't had sex in over a month and maybe that was the first thing that sprung to mind was to finish on your back. Talk to him about it, I'm sure everything is fine x

Maybe you and your partner need to reconnect. Sometimes while TTC we forget to have fun and enjoy each other. It could be that he is stressed out about that as well. Men react differently to these things. But if in your gut you feel something is up then I suggest you go with your instincts. Good luck

If that is his fetish he may just have wanted your see your back. maybe he got caught in the moment. I seriously doubt it anything bad.. my husband has a hand fetish and he loves a hand job... so since we have been trying for 2o months I sometimes throw him off and give him one just so he can enjoy what he like. I definately wouldn't think he had been with someone else based on just that. 
It's obviously just something he likes and if you haven't had much sex maybe he just got really into it 
Try having him finish that way when you're not fertile he obviously enjoys it x

Maybe stress from trying to conceive wanted him to relax and take a break, it could be stressful for him
