Do I ovulate too late?

I've been TTC well over a year now. I've opk's in the past, but quit them mid cycle because I thought I was using them wrong bc I didn't see a positive surge, and I ran out of test sticks. (I also temped my bbt but got discouraged mid cycle bc I never saw a surge during the window glow gave me) I've been using opks now again for the last 2 months and they show that I ovulate on cd 20 of a 28-29 day cycle. I've been using glow to track my fertile window, so now I'm thinking, I was bd-ing on the wrong days, actually 1 whole week before I ovulate. So now I'm thinking I was missing my fertile window this whole time.

I want to add that both me and my bunny have been checked for blood, sperm, ultrasound and we are healthy, but my dr thought it was too early to see a fertility specialist  
My questions are: 
If my period is usually regular in the number of cycle days is it possible I've been trying during the wrong week this whole time?
If I ovulate on cd 20 of a 28-29 day cycle is it too late to ovulate? 
Is there a problem associated with ovulating later? 
If so, Can someone shed some light for me?

Sounds like you might have a luteal phase defect. If your luteal phase is less than 10 days the lining of your uterus doesn't have enough time to thicken and it makes it really hard to get/stay pregnant (even if you have a fertilized egg). It might be due to low progesterone levels. You should probably tell your doctor that you ovulate so late in your cycle and she can address the issue (if there's any). Good luck! :)

This is my first month tracking and I also have a regular 28 day cycle which should put my ovulation on CD14 or CD16 the latest for a normal luteal phase. Well I am on CD15 and still nothing.. I do wonder if I ovulate at all, or if I ovulate late.

It is possible that you've been trying during the wrong time. Generally the time in between ovulating and your period, the luteal phase, is 14 days. I takes anywhere from 6-12 days for implantation to occur. It is entirely possible that since you only have an 8 or 9 day luteal phase, that it could be hindering your chances. I'd definitely talk to your doctor :)
