This time of year was always an extra bit tough for me, what with all the "So, when are you starting a family?" and the "Oooh, are not drinking cause you are pregnant?" questions teeming at every holiday party. I took two approaches to dealing with it.

1. Stop going to holiday parties

2. And then later, be extremely, uncomfortably open with my TTC difficulties: "We've been trying to start a family for 3 years now - and it's not working out. It looks like my ovaries like to produce cysts more than mature eggs. How has your year been?"

How do you deal with this time of the year? Any tips?
