biophysical profile?

I'm 36 weeks and went to the dr today. I am 1 cm dilated and 60% effaced! Had to get a biophysical profile done today and another one next week. Baby boy is already 7 pounds so does this mean my dr will take me early? Never had a biophysical profile done before 😕

I'm as far along as you and have had BPP's every week since 32 weeks or so (high risk). My nugget is also about 7 lbs and I'll have a cervix check tomorrow to see if I'm dilated. My dr has only mentioned induction at 39 weeks if baby doesn't come sooner because of his size. But that's it. I'm so ready though. 😒

I have them twice a week. doc said not inducing me unless something's wrong (like no fluid) Guess it depends why they doing it. Make sure you eat/drink something that makes baby kick a lot otherwise you'll have to a non stress test and hang out for there for hours.
