Hospital bag?

So I will be 35 weeks on Sunday and have yet to put anything in my diaper bag which I will be using for a hospital bag. But I have been thinking lately... how necessary is a hospital bag honestly? I'm bringing comfy clothes to go home in and will be wearing a hospital gown and whatever they offer at the hospital.... I know hospitals supply diapers wipes and other baby essentials along with pads and such for mom. So is bringing anything more than clothes for me and hubby , snacks for him, charger cords for our phones and camera and my breast pump, really necessary?
