Burst Ovarian Cyst
I went to the ER a couple of weeks ago with severe abdominal pain and was told I had a couple of ovarian cysts and one had likely burst. I followed up with my obgyn a few days later, and she said the cysts are now gone ("resolved" on their own).
Both doctors indicated that it's not a big deal, fairly common for cysts to occur and resolve on their own, the bursting might occur again, doesn't affect fertility, etc.
I was just curious whether anyone else here has experienced something similar and how frequently it happens?
