6 years later...

So it's official!  I'm currently going on the 6th year of having the same feelings for the same individual and it sucks!  We have liked each other on and off, but usually whenever he really tries I'm usually talking to someone or in a relationship and I just don't know what to do.  He's really popular and every girl wants him and it's so frustrating.  I've wanted him before he was the center of attention.  We were suppose to be the star couple and EVERYBODY knew that.  How do I start getting back into his life without seeming like a major creep? HELP
