Finally accepting& Proud to earn my stripes ! I saw someone post about being proud to be stretch mark free, in NO WAY am I bashing her post! She's gorgeous, lucky and blessed along with all the other women who haven't gotten any! But i was bummed I couldn't take part in any of it.. I couldn't help but read some people's comments about how they would kill if they got stretch marks and I found myself frowning upon my own body.. I do get depressed over my body now, went from being anorexic and starving myself to being a mommy to be and gaining. I often feel shame and cry over my body now, and I'm sure others do too; I've buttered myself up daily with stretch mark creams, bio oil, coco pops, coco butter, Shea butter, and nothing. You can't stop or prevent your body from doing what it's meant to do. so I thought I'd make this post to boost each other's self esteem! I know this is all for my little girl! We're not alone and we're all beautiful no matter what. We're carrying little lives! So Share your tiger stripes to help those who are self conscious about theirs! Including myself.
