Help?

This may be a stupid question, but I just got a BFP doe the first time. I don't really want to tell our families until I go to the dr to get it confirmed but I honestly don't know what dr to go to. Is it just my regular dr or do I need to see an ob? And what kind of appt do I say I need? I've never done this before

You can go to your regular doctor and they can do blood work to confirm... blood test are the most accurate they can even tell you how far along you are by your hormone levels

Go to your OB/GYN, if you don't have one you can go to a Planned Parenthood, or you can probably call your regular DR for a recommendation. You tell them you've gotten a Postive home pregnancy test and you'd like to confirm with a blood test and schedule your first prenatal exam. Best of luck to you!!!

You can go to your regular doctor. Just call and tell the secretary you need an appointment to confirm a pregnancy. When you see your doctor, they can refer you to an OBGYN. Good luck!

Just call your or a doctors office and say you've just gotten a positive pregnancy test and you need it confirmed. Ask if they have a doctor who can do that and make an appointment.
