What do they feel like?

My belly just gets really tight and hard and it's uncomfortable until it goes away and then my belly is squishy again. It usually only happens a few times for me then stops. It has never been super painful. This is baby number two and my bhc are no where near as painful as labor contractions.

Most of them are hardly noticeable and just a belly tightening. However, if you have to pee they can give you an even strong need/almost pain in your bladder like you are about to pee your pants. Then, on occasion (but much more rare...), they take your breath away from a lot of lower abdominal pressure. It's hard to explain, so sort if that sounds confusing..

In addition to abdominal tightness that has already been described, mine also feel like I am having very very slight pressure on my pelvis (not enough to cause concern). That pressure feeling is only enough to cause me to need to pee and then it goes away immediately during the pee. Mine have varied in intensity from super mild to gasping for breath. They are not painful.

I have lots of BH - 5th baby. For me they feel like early labour and they can come at regular intervals. The other night they were every 3 mins. They can be uncomfortable but they dont hurt anywhere near as much as the real thing!!
