Sex during first trimester?

I am about 5-6 weeks and after having sex with my husband there was dark discharge and some bleeding with mild cramping. Anybody else had this problem? I haven't seen my doctor yet because of the holidays but I am not sure if I should be worried.

Yessss... I had this last night. I'm at the doctors now and basically there is nothing you can do but wait and see. Go to the ER if it gets worse. I read it can be normal due to the increased amount of sensitivity and cappilaries your cervix have. It can essentially rupture the cappilaries and cause this spotting. We were even gentle... Not rough!

My midwife told me that light bleeding after sex is normal because the cervix is more likely to bleed often during pregancy. Or something like that. That happened to me last night and I freaked out, even though I expected it to. If the bleeding continues, though, then you should see your doctor.

Sex was really painful at 6 weeks. No bleeding just pain that made me cry! My husband is now a bit scared to have sex- and even though I am almost 9 weeks- I kinda wanna wait. No bleeding- just stabbing pain :(

Yep happened here too! I'm scared to have sex again. :/ we have only done it once since we found out almost a month ago!! :/
