POLL: are you having a reveal party?

I see so many of you having reveal parties. Just curious to know how popular these have really become.

There is a lot that I didn't think I would do until I did it. Such as: announce on facebook. Take belly pictures, post belly pictures, talk too much about my pregnancy. So, I vote no, I won't do it.... buuuuut, knowing me, my mind could change and there I'll be in 3 weeks biting into a pink or blue cupcake.

I didn't want to do one at first. Just wanted to do simple pictures. But then it turned into a small get together with family and a few friends, and we did a breakfast so doughnuts and a breakfast casserole with mimosas for everyone else and sparkling grape juice for me and a friend who is also pregnant. It was perfect for us. His cousin didn't do one so I think she wanted to throw us one :)

I think it's really weird to have a party about a penis or a vagina so we aren't having an event nor will we make a thing about it on social media

Im not having a gender reveal party but my teenage boys are telling my husband and I the baby's gender on Halloween.

On my birthday, I also announced my pregnancy and did a mini reveal..  nothing crazy!

My sis in law and I are 10 days apart and thought about having a joint gender reveal but in the end we decided not to. We can always spend the money for that on our babies!

I live 600 miles from my nearest family so I'm going to take a cute picture and text it to them and then out the picture on Facebook for everyone else to see. I might be interested in a party if I was actually close to people.

I'm having one! We have the ultrasound this week, and the party is in 2 weeks! We aren't finding out the gender until the party, so it'll be a surprise for us !

I just did a reveal picture for friends and family that I don't talk to every day! I didn't want to go through the hassle of buying things for a party since I'm throwing my own shower!
