CAN ANIMALS SENSE LABOR!?

I'm 38wks pregnant. My dog and I are extreamly close so I'm attentive to her actions as she is of mine, so ive notived that lately she won't let me even get up to go to the bathroom alone, the fridge for a snack, or even go out of the room just for a second to grab something without having to be in her sight. She sleeps in the bed with my husband and I at our feet but lately she makes her way at the top right between us.

Starting tonight she's been walking around the house very weirdly, like she's looking or waiting for something. She will jump on the bed to check on me then goes right back to searching/waiting...

Anyone else experience someyhing with your animals before going into labor?
